Before and After School Care (BASC) aim to provide a homely and welcoming environment for children to develop life skills, build resilience, respect one another and embrace diversity.
Our programs aims to ensure children can choose a range of experiences that contribute to developing independence and friendships.
We believe in using a holistic approach by collaborating with children, families, staff and the community which shapes their identity and evokes a sense of belonging.
The service is a not- for profit organisation operated by a Management Committee of Parents. All parents are encouraged to become involved in the Committee.
Our program includes a variety of fun activities to engage children of all ages and skills e.g. sports, crafts, games, cooking with opportunities for quieter activities.
Children can do their homework and are reminded at our daily group meetings.
We focus on the My Time Our place Framework outcomes.
We are licensed to 85 children. Our staff work at a 1:15 ratio.
Our program is designed to suit children of all abilities and children are encouraged to contribute to the activities and fun at BASC.
All our staff are individually skilled and come with a range of sporting, artistic and quality abilities.
